Client needs admin section

 Hi

I am not sure if I am in the right place?

My client needs to be able to change things on the site himself (newsletters etc) how do I design an admin section? I am sure I can find something ready made somewhere but I would like to do this myself. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
