session timer

Hello,

Is there a way to tell when the session end? Like a timer or does an event trigger that I can look for?

I have various session variables in my code and they are lossing thier value after a period of inactivity even though my understanding is that the session does not end until the browser is closed. I do not have anything in my web.config except for my forms authentication timeout of 60 secs.

They seem to loose thier values after about 15 minutes.
